On February 29th I started a personal challenge where I would try to build a $10,000 Passive Income portfolio starting with just $800. I’ve been investing for some time in crypto but I always had the same issue.
Being a young guy who lives in a 3rd world country, saving and investing more than $300 per month can be an impossible task.
I started dabbling into the idea that I could generate some passive income when I got into Wonderland last year. I know that most of you were only thinking about the crazy +80,000% APY, but all I could think is that I could cash out every week and create a new revenue stream to funnel it back to my blue-chips coins.
A few weeks later Wonderland crashed, but because I am always so optimistic I thought, there might be more Wonderlands out there that could make it. Maybe If I buy into 10 or 20 of them, at least 4 of them might survive and be my new revenue stream.
That’s how my 10k/month challenge started. I took some profits on some of my Luna position. $800, was my starting point for all of this.
Why 10k/Month? It’s a crazy idea, laughable. But with that goal, my brain has to think way more and be more creative with that target. 1k-2k is totally achievable, but I wouldn’t be as creative as I am now.

Due to current market conditions, 80% of my projects are barely making money which was expected.
I am far away from my goal of hitting $10,000 in passive income per month. But even then, I can still pull out some money each week.
Looking at the chart you can see that a month ago I was making almost $500 in just a week, but now my average per week is between $120-$160.
The good thing is after I invested $2,355 out-of-pocket I haven’t added anything more to my portfolio. Any other project that I invest in, is 100% of the profits.
Now, let’s take a look at each of my projects and how they are doing:

Earnings per day: $11 after taxes
Conclusion
As you can see I got my money back, but because most of it I have reinvested into other passive income projects I cannot call it a full ROI.
Each week I have been able to withdraw between $50-$100 to my bank account just to remind myself that I am dealing with money and that from time to time I should take profits.
And I have also been moving 33% of my profits into safer projects like top 10 coins.
I will continue with this challenge till the year ends but probably will not continue to add more out-of-pocket.
In total, I made $906 for the month of May, which I am pretty happy about.
