ZKSync Airdrop Guide — Get Involved and Earn Up to $10k
Welcome to the ZKSync Airdrop Guide! In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps to get involved with ZKSync and position yourself for potential airdrops. By following these instructions, you’ll have the opportunity to receive rewards for your participation in the ZKSync ecosystem. I started farming heavily after receiving the massive airdrop from Arbitrum. Myself, I got over $1,400 from a few transactions taken last year, and since then I got hooked.
I think zkSync can easily match Arbitrum airdrop or be even bigger. Let’s check some stats:
Zksync has zkSync lite and zkSync Era. Just like Arbitrum has Arbitrum One, and Arbitrum Nova.
zkSync Era launched less than 2 months ago and already has more than 113 Million dollars in total value locked.
zkSync is massive, they are amassing millions of transactions per day!
The bigger a project the bigger the airdrop. Why is that? Let’s take a look at this scenario.
We have projects A and B. Both allocate 10% of the supply to an airdrop.
Project A has a market cap of 100M, therefore 10% is 10M
Project B has a market cap of 1B, therefore 10% is 100M
Now, let’s say you get lucky and receive 0.0001% of the total supply for both.
Project A, you receive an airdrop worth $100
Project B, you receive an airdrop worth $1,000
As you can see, not all airdrops are created equal. That’s why I will always be more obsessed with larger projects.
Now to the good stuff. Here’s how you can get involved with zkSync.
Step 1: Prepare Your Wallet To get started
You’ll need a MetaMask wallet. If you don’t have one yet, make sure to set it up before proceeding. Additionally, you’ll need funds on any network, but I have a preference for Arbitrum. You can add the Arbitrum network to your wallet by visiting chainlist.org, searching for “Arbitrum,” and clicking on “Arbitrum One — Add to MetaMask.”
For this step, you can use a centralized exchange to send ETH from there to your MetaMask.
Step 2: Bridge Your Funds to ZKSync
Once you have funds on Arbitrum or your preferred network, you’ll need to bridge them to ZKSync. Two recommended bridges for this process are orbiter.finance and layer swap. These bridges allow you to transfer your funds to ZKSync. Visit ecosystem.zksync.io to explore all available bridges and choose the one that suits you best. Follow the instructions provided by the bridge of your choice to complete the fund transfer.

Step 3: Utilize ZKSync Protocols
With your funds successfully bridged to ZKSync, it’s time to explore the protocols within the ecosystem. You can choose from various options such as Mute and SyncSwap. These protocols offer opportunities to participate in trading and swapping activities. Connect your wallet to the desired protocol and start taking trades or swaps to engage with the ZKSync ecosystem.
Step 4: Tracking Your Transactions
To increase your chances of receiving airdrops or meeting future requirements, it’s crucial to track your transactions. Monitor your trading volume and the number of transactions you engage in. Aim to maintain consistent activity on ZKSync, as this may be a factor for potential airdrops in the future. Take note of your transaction details and keep a record of your participation.
